I have been looking for tomato worms.. I cannot find them! what is the trick? I see their destruction! and their poop! but ive been looking for the big ones and cant find them. I will look in the late afternoon and see if I can find them then. PS. I did find 2 small ones on the branches I cut off.

You can get a small UV flashlight from Amazon and other places. Then go out after dark and the worms glow slight green.

If you see any that look like this, with the white cocoons on its back, leave it alone as those are beneficial insects that have already killed the hornworm and will pursue other ones to feed on.
