Hi from Ohio
I've done SQF gardening in the past in another western state but since moving to Ohio, I haven't done any gardening here. I plan on doing it this year with raised bed garden tables since I have issues with my back. I feel like I've forgotten everything, so I'm re-reading the book and I also ordered Mel's new book (not sure if there is any updates in the 3rd edition??).

Hello!
Being right there in the home state of AM Leonard, you could probably start checking for vermiculite and not have to worry too much about shipping costs.
Raised gardening tables sounds neat. I just had a crazy idea (most of my ideas are crazy ), but a lot of people working from home are investing in standing work desks. Once this covid thing is over, I suspect quite a few of them will end up at garage sales (the desks, not the people). Imagine a garden table that could be raised or lowered depending on need!
Have fun!

Welcome to the forum and Ohio. There are a number of us Buckeyes here, and most of them (@OhioGardener) know a heck of a lot more than I do. It's a great group.

HK, Welcome to the Forum from California! All of my beds are elevated off the ground due to back and hip issues.
