Article: Plan Next Year's Garden
Today's Urban Farmer Seeds e-letter introduced a How-To article on planning next year's garden that has some good tips, which some may find helpful.
How to: Plan the Next Year’s Garden
They also have a farily larger library of articles with growing instructions, planting guides, plant comparisons, etc., which provides a lot of useful info.

Re: Article: Plan Next Year's Garden
I am starting to plan. Celery and some herbs need an early start. Not sure if my bulbs are good? Guess we’ll see!

Re: Article: Plan Next Year's Garden
I'm starting to plan next/this year's garden. Things are complicated because we will probably be adding on to our house and will have to move 2 of the 4 SFGs in that event. The effect of that is that my pollinator garden (which is the only other place that has adequate sun) will have to be moved to accomplish that. My yard is a small space with tons of massive trees around it, none of which are actually in my yard. Giant silver maples stand like Colossus to blot out the sun. At least I'm learning what works and what doesn't from last year.
The exciting thing is that this year I will be able to start things earlier and can get cool weather plants in the ground before it gets too hot.
