Rat's Tail Radish
We giggled at this guy's expense a few weeks ago, but maybe the Rat's Tail Radish gets the last laugh. While doing my homework, I discovered that these guys are very prolific, fun, HEAT TOLERANT, fast and easy to grow. No bulbs -- just eat the pods. The only thing I can't find is what they taste like. Anybody know or will I be the guinea pig on this one?

Hi, Guinea Pig Reading the reviews, it sounds like a winner.
Does anyone know how many to plant per square, since the pods are the main attraction.

I'd say just 1. Mine is about the size of a pepper plant, only taller and narrower. I think that's a 15" pot it's growing in.sanderson wrote:Hi, Guinea Pig Reading the reviews, it sounds like a winner.

Not bad eating, btw. The secret is to nibble from the base until you get close to the top, then chuck the tip -- it just tastes like grass at that end.
