Happy New Year!
Good morning everyone! Hope you had a nice time last night & are ready to jump up bright & early to start your day!!
(Yeah... Me neither...)
It's a new year. What are your garden plans? Mine? Get my garden back going again!!! I've had to let it go the last couple of years due to business obligations. But I MISS being in the garden....

Happy New Year, SFGers!
Yeah, still caffeinating here in Ohio!
Plans for my garden are kinda expensive and mundane; drainage issues need fixed in my backyard, so have a plumbing contractor lined up to correct those issues.

Happy New Year to all!
For me, last night was pretty typical night - went to bed at the regular time, and got up this morning at the regular time - and the watch said it was 2019 when I woke up. So, all is well!
I kicked off the new year by starting another compost tumbler this morning. A neighbor called yesterday and asked if I could use some juicer pulp for compost, and I told her I would love to have it. So, she dropped off a 5 gallon bucket of pulp this morning. I put that in the composter along with our own kitchen waist, two bags of Starbucks coffee grounds, and some sawdust pellets for carbon in an empty section of one of the compost tumblers. I added a shovel full of compost from the other side of the tumbler to kick off the new section, so it should be cooking soon.
Meanwhile, the lettuce and spinach is growing great indoors, and we'll soon be enjoying our first salad from them.

Happy New Year, everyone. I am ready to put this one in the books for reasons other than the garden!
