Re: Tomato - Snow Fairy
Of the 10 or so SF plants I started, one made it through our harsh winter, where temperatures can plummet 10 degrees above freezing. Later I might compile a list of the accidental perennial species I've got going.

Re: Tomato - Snow Fairy
Those look great! The problem with mine is that they all have come down with the brown wilting. They produced a fair amount of fruit, but the fruit is still green while the plant is dying off. I think they're wishing they were back in northern Europe. I'm thinking of taking a couple of the fruits and giving it an immediate reboot.sanderson wrote:Snow Fairies on June 12, 2022. I almost lost them to leaf-foot bug nymphs and something making holes similar to a tomato worm, and maybe white flies? I sprayed with spinosad and it's like a miracle.

Re: Tomato - Snow Fairy
It may be that they do better in your cooler months. Mine are still producing but I had to spray with spinosad, and this afternoon, I saw some adults and nymphs leaf-footed bugs hanging out in them. Had to get out the dedicated Dustbuster and container of soapy water.
