Need help with tomato leaves
Can anyone help identify what's up with my tomato leaves? I am not good at matching my leaf problems with disease pics found online...start of a bacterial leaf spot?...don't see any flea beetles. Other tomatoes I have are about 50% riddled with tiny, tiny holes.

That looks like flea beetle damage to me. Are you watering at ground level or using a sprinkler?

Camp...I started these from seed and always watered from below, they've been planted for several weeks and we've had a fair amount of rain with about 50/50 chance of rain about for the next 4-5 days.
I planted them about 12" deep so there are not alot of lower leaves to remove.

Flea beetles don't always hang around on the plant they've been perforating. I know they're responsible for terrorizing my mizuna this year, but I rarely spot any on the mizuna. The black/brown ones are impossible to see if they've jumped off into the dirt, and even the yellow striped ones are hard to spot on a dark background.

I've sent some pics to the county extension office for some feedback.
I'll also swing by a garden center over lunch to have them check my phone pics.

I vote flea beetles. Didn't know they liked tomatoes tho. They sure do like basil! I don't worry about them in my garden... they don't eat much.

Flea beetles are self-limiting and your plants will survive. They will look gastly for a while but never fear . By the middle of this summer your plants will be thriving without any treatment for flea beetles. At least that has been my experience over the many years of gardening.

Tomatoes with cabbage butterfly green caterpillars:
Half of the tall tomatoes have this disease/condition:
Including one of the Snow Fairy tomatoes which were a healthy winner last year. I'm afraid it's one of the "wilt" diseases.

Oh no Sanderson. Can't help with the identification of a possible disease. I assume you know if this would be heat related or herbicide drift. Maybe take some leaves and pictures to the county extension office if you have one nearby.

Re: Need help with tomato leaves
Sorry to see that leaf curl. There is a lot of info about possible causes. I think the worst case scenario would be a virus. But maybe it is just the heat and dry conditions.

The cabbage butterfly worms eat tomatoes???
Geeze...and the hornworm eats peppers. I wish these bugs would stay within their own category.

Don't forget the squash bugs on my tomatoes and baby grasshoppers on everything.
It's not just upward leaf curl, the whole stems are dying.
