Cajun Christmas Bonfires on the River
I thought I would share this Cajun Christmas tradition with yall. The story has some history and 2 rather long videos. If you have some time to spare grab a big glass of eggnog and join us for a ride along the great river road on Christmas eve.

Re: Cajun Christmas Bonfires on the River
Nice to see some traditions still exist. Some grumpy 1%'ers that have their beachfront McMansions got upset with the commoners using "their" beach for bonfire gatherings and actually coerced the city of Carmel California to ban campfires on the beach, citing health hazards from the smoke. The hypocrites -every one of those beachfront manors have 2 or more fireplaces, but I guess that those don't count. Only in California
