Really nice video and I am sure it will be a great help to many.  Here we love wasps and do not take their nest down unless absolutely necessary.  I actually felt bad today as I hadda kill some hornets that were trying to set up shop on my boats trailer hitch.  I sprayed the hitch and small nest with poison trying to avoid the wasps as I did, hoping this would force them to a different spot.

Fire ants actually help a garden but hurt the harvester. Often times our garden beds are the only dry spot in our soggy yard so the ants flee to there when it rains.  We are forced to poison the out er edges of or boxes to keep the ants out.

Cappy, I foolishly had been removing wasp from around the house. I don't know what I was thinking. This film was very helpful. it also help me have more confidence identified the insects , esp the beetles and the identyfying type of plant damage. the close up were very helpful. I commend those two ladies.

Thank you for sharing this video! I am so amazed at the clarity and closeness they were able to accomplish. I wish my eyes could see them this well.

Years ago when I would see hornets in my garden, I would cringe. The years I started seeing many less bees, and I saw hornets going from plant to plant, I figured that at least the wasps were transferring pollen. I hadn't done any research to justify this though but it seemed logical. I have destroyed nests and killed wasps in the past because of their closeness to my family and them nesting in places that we would disturb and probably get stung as has happened in the past.

I have noticed that I have gotten much less squeamish with regard to the many insects and bugs that are in my garden and mostly even ignore the spiders. I do try to squash earwigs as quickly as I can.

I still do need to do a lot more studying and learning.
