Yeah, it is adorable ain't it... I have four. This hybrid was hard to sprout, only four out about 14 seeds came up. I meant to write that in my post, but my tablet had technical difficulties.

Cute - do you have to cover it when it goes below freezing or will it withstand the freezing weather. We have been pretty lucky lately with very few overnight freezes.

I covered during weather in the teens. 20 degrees and up they have not required any covering. Neither they nor the Johnny Jump Ups next to them.

According to what I have read about fennel..does not like frost, need to be protected from the cold.
