Re: Speeding up my compost??
Well, combining didn't work. I'll try it again after I get more instructions . I need the practice!

Re: Speeding up my compost??
You put the yogurt part in with the compost too. Save the liguid left from the concoction for the microorganisms that are growing. work great on plants too. read up and enjoy, if you have any questions please feel free to ask Alex

Speeding up compost......
What a great thread, and so funny.
Well, as for the pee. The active ingredient is urea which breaks down into ammonia. A fellow gardener in my area told me to douse my pile with store-bought ammonia, and cover the pile with black plastic. This will heat the pile up in a hurry. The hot weather will help. But I think the peeing outside idea is much more fun.
Who mentioned a sawdust toilet? What is this? With 3 kids and 5 adults in my house, I would love to save on my water bill!!!
You guys rock!!!
