Last week I was having all kinds of trouble with posting pictures and my comp. was a little slow so I took it in for a look at. It died. So here I'm back with a new computer having turned it on 20 min. ago. Unfortunately it is a different brand, and it has windows 8.1 which I know nothing about so it will be awhile before I can figure some things out. At least

Grats on being back!

Didn't they add a fix to Windows 8 -- maybe what made it 8.1? -- so that you could get your start button back and operate more like you might be used to?

+1 Johnp and Plaintoid. ARGGGGGGG My computer died at 0600 last Tues Morning. By noon I was back home with new Window 8.1 computer and I'm still having major problems. Lost my bookmarks and because I was lazy about backing up my pictures, lost all the 2014 ones. When IE got turned on, I think a virus came with it. Major pop ups. I've ran scan 4 times on Thurs and have run scans at least every other day since. Chrome is working better than at first. I even get an annoying ad here on this site.

I have 8.1 also as the same thing happened to me Walshevak. I would just like to put new pictures into my new computer but all I can do is load the whole bunch. Really frustrating.
