Anyone in Maryland come across this company? Veterans Compost. I see they have a SFG mix and bagged composts that may be helpful to people in the area.

Just wanted to share.

Have a good day,
Mike

We are fortunate that they are forum members.  SFG4UKim first brought this company to our attention, but it is good to have a reminder.  Kim is a Certified Instructor and worked with them to develop her own SFG mix which they now blend and sell in the Md, WDC, N. VA area.

They are AWESOME! They just dropped off 2 cubic yards of the mix to me on Monday. I have a small SFG business and exclusively sell their mix and compost.

This is my third season using them and the only complaint I've had was a woman called me up irate saying that the compost I sold her must be bad because it had live worms in it! LOL

BTW they also SHIP the mix in a 1 HUGE cubic yard bag {which is enough for three 4'x4'x6" beds} to the continental US. They also have satellite sites in VA/DC and PA.

That's great to know, Kim!

I'd certainly be interested in getting some that way.  Saves me (well.... Mike, lol) the hassle...!
