Hi from Central Alabama. I have been doing a form of sfg for 3 years now.  My beds were a mess!
I had two 4x4 beds that I planted everything in but a kitchen sink.  It was productive so I thought I would get Mel's new book and actually garden correctly this year.  I ordered seeds from varies venders, started planting seeds in February,  and lost half of my seedlings for numerous reasons. However,  I currently have six 4x4 beds planted and an empty one ready to be prepared and planted with corn.  I also have many other pots with other plants. We are expecting storms so I spent the day securing my gardens. Most of the pictures I took today do not display much except the hulu hoops/row covers cages. I am happy to have this forum and look forward to sharing knowledge. (Thank you to the person that showed me her hulu hoop cages. Great ideal!)

Hi and welcome Siberian! We are practically neighbors. I'm in Pleasant Grove, just a few minutes from you.

Stay safe from these storms coming through this evening. I'm praying we don't have another April 27, 2011 on our hands!
