We did have one small hydroponic store in our small town (pop. about 7500)
but by the time I got interested in grow lights etc., they had gone out of business so I never found out what prices they were charging.
It is very hard to support rent, rates and wages with a small store in a small town and as a former small-store owner I do my best to support them, but only if they give value for money. e.g. I always support our small greengrocer because his prices are not too much higher than the supermarkets and as you know, the produce is much superior so it is a no-brainer.
