Hey Southern Gardener, about your squash blossoms? Squash13
Having trouble with images, anyone? I am trying to post a picture of an immature suash blossom that sounds just like something that Southern Gardener wrote about in another post My squash plants look great and the male flkowers have been blooming for weeks. To date though, I don't have a single female that has gotten anywhere close opening up for pollination. When they are just tiny and immature they are turning light brown/slightly damp and falling off. They are strill under row covers and I hae been watching the makle flowers for weeks. They look great. But the females can't seem to get it going. I wouldn't say I have a perfectly measured Mel's mix, but it is dang close! If this photo doesn't work, I will try again.

If there are blooms, I would uncover to allow the pollinators get to the flowers.
