I cannot believe the speed of seed germination and the vigor of the little green beasties.

I planted 4 pots with Mel's recipe  and 1 control pot of planting soil with some additional moss and fertilizer .   All of the Mel pots had the fastest (within 2 days!) and the strongest baby plants I have ever had.  The control pot took 5 to 7 days and has thin, wispy, weak looking tiny things coming up.

My family thinks I have a miraculous green thumb (ha!).  It ain't me.  I just followed the tips and the formula as best as I could (4 of 5 composts).

That would depend upon things in your local environment like dewpoint and win and make up of the soil.. For accuracy, use a digital thermometer to measure the temperature of your growing medium.
