How long does it take for Oakra to sprout
I am curious as to how long it takes for oakra to sprout? I live in south mississippi. Its been kind of cool (global warming and all). Just curious as to what to expect since this is my first SFG. Everything else has sprouted. I planted on March 22nd but I did not realize you had to soak the seeds overnight. Thoughts?

Germination time
According to The Weekend Gardener it should take anywhere from 6 to 18 days for okra to sprout. I used to live a few hundred miles north of you in Batesvlle, Miss. and it usually too a week and a half for the okra to start.

I planted my okra around March 13th. It just started coming up a couple of days ago. I didn't soak my seed either.
So give it some time. Keep everything watered and soon you will have great surprises coming up.
