Hey All!

The LADWP puts on composting classes, in addition to classes on other topics. They give rebates for changing your lawn to something more water efficient. I think I was $2 per square foot, $4,000 max.

Schedule of Workshops: http://dpw.lacounty.gov/epd/sg/wk_scheds.cfm
Worm Composting: http://dpw.lacounty.gov/epd/sg/wc.cfm
Worm Composting Fact Sheet: http://dpw.lacounty.gov/epd/sg/tech_sheets/wc_info.pdf

Looks interesting. I'm going to try to make a class in the next month.
