My grow light

My grow light
I put together a grow light last night for my seedlings. Everything was purchased at Home Depot. I bought a basic 4' chain mounted T12 shoplight, two 4' T12 type plant lights, and six 2' pieces of PVC out of a bin of PVC cut offs, one coupler, two 90 degree bends, and two T-connectors. I took two of the pieces of PVC and cut them in half, and inserted into the T-Connectors to make the feet. You can see the pictures to see how the rest went together. Light is adjustable height by using the chain. Light is attached to the stand using two eyebolts and nuts.
The seedlings are broccoli, collards, and Chef's Choice cauliflower. Chef's Choice cauliflower is a mixture of white, green, and purple heirloom cauliflower. It is a couple of weeks late in start for my area, but the first batch did not do so well as I did not have a grow light.

Re: My grow light
I tried by windowsill and my seedlings grew very long, thin, and only had the sprout leaves. The window gets all day sun light, but it may not have received full view of the sun.
