Greetings from Glendale/Burbank California
Oh, the excitement.
We have a 4x5 and 2 2x4 boxes started. The 2x4 boxes are one for each child as part of their home school experience. Our 4x5 is made from an old picnic table that was going to be tossed out otherwise.
In the last several days, we have noticed 5 cucumber seedlings coming up and a bunch of onions. No carrots or radishes yet, but we have broccoli and cauliflower and lots of romaine from starts already growing.
Each kid box has 3 cauliflower starts from the same six pack. I am puzzling over why the 3 in one boxe have one leaf each that is turning fall colors. The Mel mix we made is different by one ingredient between the kid boxes. Namely, the old sheep/goat compost. Any thoughts?

I think thats awesome that u r including growing in ur kids home school ed! It should b part of mainstream ed 2 in my opinion!
