Hot pepper ideas
I've picked a lot of hot peppers in the past month or so - more than DH can eat, and I've been searching the internet for ways to use them. So far I've decided do these:
- dried and crushed for future use as a seasoning,
- hot pepper vinegar sauce (to season beans, peas, greens, etc.),
- hot pepper jelly,
- hot pepper cranberry jelly,
- hot pepper mustard (if I can get the recipe from my FIL in time,) and
- hot pepper infused vodka.
Most of these will be given as Christmas gifts, so I would appreciate any suggestions of other unusual recipes. Thanks!

Check out the subject on the Forum: "Must try recipe....Mexican Pepper Relish." Therein you will find a site for the relish, and it's where I posted my recipe for Cowboy Candy (candied jalapenos). Happy canning! Nonna

Re: Cowboy Candy
I took some to an Airstream rally and served it over cream cheese with Ritz crackers around it, and it all disappeared. Guys were daring each other to eat an even bigger serving. But, then, it's a guy thing, right? Nonna (BTW, there are hot jalapenos, then there are TAM jalapenos which have all the flavor but little heat.)
