Rooster & Southern Gardener Post Surgery
Hey everyone. I've had my surgery, and so far everything is going very good. I cannot place any weight on my leg yet, and I've got lots of exercises to do while I'm horizontal so to speak. At the moment I know I'm behind on a few things and some requests. Please know I'm not blowing anyone or anything off, I just can't sit at my desktop yet as I can't bend my knee and its proven fairly difficult to sit there. I'm taking care of what I can from my phone, but doing much as far as settings and whatnot, is a real task! Hopefully sometime in the next few days, I'll be able to get onto the desktop and do some updating. Thanks everyone for the patience and well wishes!

That's why I love my laptop. I can sit in my recliner and post in comfort.

The worst part is over. Recovery is next.
Take it easy, listen to your drs and physical therapists and get healthy at your own pace. We'll still be here.

Now that it's a few days out, I hope you're doing even better.
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Re: Rooster & Southern Gardener Post Surgery
Gotta put my 2 cents in... I work for a Dr... DO YOUR REHAB EXERCISES !!! Swear in 3 languages or in Klingon, whatever.... but do the torture sessions !! It will make the difference later in whether you walk on your own or with assistance !! and even longer down the road it may make the difference between independence at home or nursing home care......

Re: Rooster & Southern Gardener Post Surgery
Glad to hear that you are recuperating well.
Here's another descriptive term that may be useful to you (especially in regard to all the advice you are getting): Miel vagón.
This is euphemistic Spanish for "manure spreader."
