Eggs inside tomato, what are they?
I found a tomato the other day that seems to be water logges a squishy and yellowish, I pulled it of and cut it open and this is what I found, looks like small black eggs but I have never had this happen before so not sure what it is. I inspect daily and the other tomatoes in that box are all perfectly healthy, any suggestions?

It does sorta look like something laid eggs in the developing tomato, but I really don't know. However, it reminded me of this thread from last year.

Thanks for the good read Kay, I didn't even know tomatoes could do that!

That kind of looks like a worm got into it somehow to me. You find the same thing in apples and pears that haven't been sprayed. Sorry I can't tell you more! I even looked through a book I had handy called "what's wrong with my vegetable garden", lol, and couldn't find anything.
Also, that other post about the sprouting tomato... Fascinating! And also super creepy!
