Will This Damage My Pole Beans Empty Will This Damage My Pole Beans

I have planted pole beans (Gita to be exact), and they're growing well and getting ready to bear fruit...or beans...whatever. Anyway, very small, dark-colored ants have taken a particular interest in the areas where the flowers are beginning to sprout. I'm sure they're attracted to whatever is sweet in there. Will their activities harm the developing bean pods at all? I'm all for leaving them alone, but I'll take steps if they'll significantly impact the yield or prevent it at all.

Well ants have been know to be good for pollinating cukes, so maybe they will pollinate your beans.
