philct, you have a potato that is going to make a seed pod!! You need to put something around it, maybe knee hi hose, to collect the seeds. Most potato plants do not make seeds.

around the fruit? So then I what, collect the seeds, dry them, and plant next year? Wow!!!

Oh they are beautiful! There was a good discussion awhile back about potato seeds as opposed to seed potatoes! You may want to read it and congratulations!
