I work at a non profit for disables adults. We have started a vertical garden. We donot have any land. The pots get pretty heavy to lift up. we usually water MOn., Wed, Friday. Our gardening class is on Monday mornings.

Welcome to the forum, Laceydee!
What do you have planted in the pots? Do you have stakes or skinny trellises stuck into the pots?

You need to go see PNG_Grandma's plot in Modesto. All raised boxes. Also, this can easily be adapted to pots - the larger, taller ones are easiest to work with. They get heavy when filled so best to place them before filling. DO you have a plan or do you want input.
Check out THIS TRELLIS THREAD about this very topic.
And...have you read the All new SFG book yet? If not, do. And there is someone else in CA (AvaDGardner) who is working with a nursing home and someone (maybe in SC) working with a homeless shelter. Anyway, you are int he right place. If you have questions, let us know.

Hi, We have 6 tomatoe plants, 6 cucumber plants, (in small containers), peppers, strawberries (that are not doing well), rosemary, 3 different basil, choclate mint, yellow squash.
all in different sized containers. Only the tomatoes are have cages.
today I brought in two large clean kitty litter container and the guys drilled holes in them for me. I guess I have to transplant some cucumbers...
