Hey yall!
Good afternoon from stormy, rainy, Tulsa!
I'm a beginning gardner who stumbled across SFG while searching for raised garden bed ideas on the internet. I'll tell you what....I'm loving the concept
My mother had a garden in our backyard when I was a child, and I absolutely loved growing and harvesting veggies. Over the years I would see people tending their home gardens and I would tell myself I was going to start a garden of my own some day.
I had some success with container gardening last year, so I figured I would go bigger, but didnt want to do any tilling and such. That's when I stumbled upon SFG. I purchased a book in January and the rest is, well...soon to be history. It's only April.
You guys have some awesome advice here. Reading about your successes and failures has been quite a joy, and has given me some good laughs to boot. Well, that's all for now.
*sn* I'm beginning to break the children down little by little (15 and . They have stopped groaning and rolling their eyes when I try to drag them to backyard*

Re: Hey yall!
Good luck on your efforts!
Not having to till justifies a LOT of preliminary work and fuss, IMO, so that's definitely a big attraction of SFG for me.
