New Strawberry Beds
We started building and filling our new strawberry beds, hurrying to get done before the rain begins, but, stopped due to the extreme heat. Still waiting on the rain?
Two beds, each 4 x 6 on the bottom layer, six inch space all around to plant berries.
The berries can hang over the sides to be picked.
The berries did so good this yr, but were difficult to pick, having to hunt thru the leaves to find the berries, being in a flat bed.
I also bought 12 King Kong strawberry plants and will put them in the top layer.
Strawberries love MM!

Re: New Strawberry Beds
Looks wonderful littlejo. And it is a relief on the lower back to put plants higher up. Enjoy!
