earth worm castings

A recent issue of Mother Earth news they have this excellent photograph of the cross section of an earth worm burrow, showing the castings just at the top.
This photo is similar and makes the point.
So seeing the castings at the top I have been able to ID what these little mounds are around parts of my yard.
We had an RV parked over part of our yard last year and a tarp has been over that area over the winter and we took it off this weekend and there were these little burrows with the castings EVERYWHERE.
So I went around and scooped up a bucket of them. PURE WORM CASTINGS
Perhaps someone with more skill that I can put the picture up here..
