Camel Poo in compost bins?
Is camel poo an acceptable additive to our compost bins? We have a possible source just down the road from us...and they make a lot of poo!

Re: Camel Poo in compost bins?
I don't see why not, since they are herbivores. I would probably treat them like some of the "hotter" manures just in case, but it all composts down.

Re: Camel Poo in compost bins?
We have a local nursery that takes all the poop from herbivores at the Cincinnati Zoo and composts it.
Re: Camel Poo in compost bins?
Yes camel manure should be great as they are a cousin to llamas who are also herbivores.
