I used violas I grew this winter in salads a big hit, pretty and peppery. If useing in salads a good tip I read, before I did it thank goodness, make, toss, and dress the salad THEN add flowers. Most flowers are not tuff enough to stand up to all that rough handleing;) . It might be common sence but that is something saddly I am not all that long on.

The only thing I've eaten are nasturtiums on a salad. Would love to try some others, especially fried squash blossoms.
