Re: Happy Birthday!!
Thank you, Marie. Being born in England I start early at 4pm the previous day as eight hours is the hourly difference so as usual I have a 32 hour birthday. I have already had greetings via FaceBook, plus phone calls and birthday cards. Watched the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony held in my honour and had coffee yesterday at four pm, the start of my long day with a new Philippine friend who shares the same birthday. Later today a lunch with the same group for the last six years (sadly only four left of our original six) then visiting a couple of housebounds who are always so welcoming; luckily right now the roads are clear and not too cold and with little wind. Walking Guthrie before supper calling on a couple of close neighbours. Tomorrow Guthrie's family will be giving me a birthday supper so that they can give me more time to be with them. So off now to spruce myself up for the day.

Re: Happy Birthday!!
Marie, I had a lovely time yesterday evening with my neighbours. Laoh cooked me sausages and mash with onion gravy and broccoli and Lauren made me a birthday cake. They are such a nice family; Laoh is a palliative care nurse and is such a gentle man; he patched me up earlier this year when I fell over his dog Guthrie and injured my arm on the concrete, that is when I found he was such a gentle person. His wife Lauren at the moment is a stay-at-home mom and looks after four year old Sawyer and bringing her up to be a loving little girl. Guthrie I have written about before, a very laid back large dog who allows Sawyer to maul him to pieces and the kitten-cats to use him as a mountain to climb over. Even the kitten-cats are so much handled that they take anything from little Sawyer. This is one of the happiest birthdays I have had in many years since I lost my dear husband.

No problem, TD, I'd miss my own birthday unless other people remind me. I do know it is the day and not the years that matter. Now looking forward to spring. There was lot's of talk of gardening this morning at the Women's Centre I have joined. They have three raised beds at the back of the building, and in a nice sunny spot as well. I will be able to help with their composting.
Re: Happy Birthday!!
Lol, I don't actually have birthdays anymore. I have anniversaries of my 26th birthday. This year will be the 29th anniversary of my 26th birthday.
