Re: Happy Birthday!!
Oh, COMPOST! I'm always late to the birthday party thread...
To Kay, MEL, NHG, middlemama, PVPing, windor.parker...
...and ME!!! I'm even late to my own party.
Thanks for remembering, folks! I've been crazy-busy with non-gardening stuff, but I'm still around!!!

Yolos - wasn't your birthday in the last few days too????? If so, sorry I missed it!!
Re: Happy Birthday!!
Thanks AM. But because of identity theft before, I never put my correct birth date online. So my birthday is not this month. But on my birthday, I will remember that you wished me a happy birthday.AtlantaMarie wrote:Yolos - wasn't your birthday in the last few days too????? If so, sorry I missed it!!

I celebrate mine every year! Of course, now it's anniversaries of my 26th birthday... (My mom's only 27, so I can't be older than her....)

Re: Happy Birthday!!
Thank you, Marie: Yes, I had a very nice birthday, starting as usual the day before at 4pm local time because that is 12 midnight in England where I was born.
At 4pm (yesterday) I visited my friend down the road and enjoyed sherry and tiny sausage rolls and other nice stuff. In the evening I visited neighbours who are also so good to me and make sure that I am safe and well throughout the year in spite of their own troubles.
I spent the beginning of this morning emailing and Facebooking from around the world, England, Wales, Morocco, Canada and the United States; family, friends, gardeners, elephant supporters, checking throughout the day. Phone calls received from two friends away for some weeks, one in Calgary and the other in Victoria. That means that on their return I will have a dinner with each of them, one on one,
Took a walk with Jazz in beautiful weather, a little cold, just enough to say brisk?
Then lunch at Subway with the rest of our little group, including Evelyn, a ninety-year old sweetie, who has been ill for a couple of months but dragged herself, with the help of her son-in-law, just to say hello to me. I feel humbled.
Home for a much-needed siesta, then out again for a Chinese Buffet; delicious.. It is now gone eight pm local time, Jazz needs his evening walk and then I will be off to bed, maybe to continue reading, "Teaming with Microbes", perhaps to dream of microbes as big as elephants?
Lunchtime with a group of five others who celebrate out birthday together through the year.

Re: Happy Birthday!!
KJ, I didn't know that this was your real birth day. It sounds like you had a wonderful day, for a wonderful woman.

Re: Happy Birthday!!
Thanks! At least I got a from sanderson
Let's see, got home from work and there was some daylight left, so I went to check on and turn my compost tumbler. Noticed some fungus growing in it, woohoo!, the white stringy stuff, forget what it's called.
Then my womens took me to Joe's Crabshack for dinner. I got a Star Trek themed and a Star Wars themed birthday card from my womens (wife and daughter). I have my high stakes (nickel-dime-quarter) poker game this weekend with friends (that's my birthday present).

Re: Happy Birthday!!
Sorry I did not get round to wishing you, Zmoore a Happy Birthday. I guess I was so wrapped up in my own day.
But I'm not going to give you a I might not live to my next birthday.
