I've found some good websites lately, and wanted to pass them along. You all may already know about them. For the purists, I'm not sure how organic they are, so be warned.

Thank you so much for this post of almost a year ago, lol! I was looking for orange bell peppers and found them on Dirtcheapseeds with free shipping!

Mother Earth News is a magazine I always look at when at my local library. So I just bought their 43 years of magazines collection on a searchable DVD for $40 +$5 shipping. It has articles that listed their 15 top sustainable seed companies at http://www.motherearthnews.com/organic-gardening/best-vegetable-seed-companies-zm0z11zsto.aspx and also a seed locator using 500 different seed sources at http://www.motherearthnews.com/find-seeds-plants.aspx . Unfortunately this DVD has also created a new reading addiction. Here is a UK seed source for about anything you could desire especially herbs and rarities http://www.nickys-nursery.co.uk .

I just checked out the Trade Winds Fruit website and they have two types of cantaloupe that I found interesting. One is called Charentais Melon, which bears 3 to 4 inch fruit and the other is called Minnesota Midget Melon with fruit about the same size. These would be great, I think for a single person household.
They also had a great variety of both hot and sweet peppers. Thanks walshevak for pointing me in their direction!
