I'd like to have an Avatar too: Favorite is Tigger in Winnie-the-Pooh.BackyardBirdGardner wrote:
Happy New Year!! Let's do our favorite cartoon characters for the month of January...
If you are new to the game, avatars are easy to find through google images or any other search engine.
Just copy the URL (generally, by right-clicking on the image you want) into your profile...under the avatar tab.
If you have trouble with the sizing, make sure "avatar" is in the google search bar. But, I've never had to resize my avatar images.
For the completely computer rookies, try it out and come here to ask questions. Someone can help you.
Alas, I have no clue what you said. Also I never go to Google or Yahoo.
is there any hope?

I just had to add the video intro. It was a cult classic that some might not remember only running for 3 years.

Is it sad that I still sometimes yell that around the house? My kids look at me like I'm nuts and my wife just rolls her eyes in disbelief that she married me...lol.

VOLTRON - DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE
OMG - I forgot about that one too. Great find.
That was similar to "Battle of the Planets". I used to run around the house shouting "G-Force". Seeing as it was a group of people and not a single character, I went for Cavey but to be honest this was probably my favorite cartoon.
Anyone remember this one? Title pic below.

I do remember G-Force! What a rip-off of Star Wars but that's probably why I watched it as a kid.

Re: January Avatars: Favorite Cartoon Character
I tend to lay low when it comes to posting about plants, but I just have to jump in when cartoons are involved!
A huge Looney Tunes fan as a kid, I could do almost all the voices (at least *I* thought I could!) and knew a lot of the scripts inside and out. Even today, I can hear a few lines from the next room and know what episode it is.
This guy, Killer (a.k.a. Beaky Buzzard), always cracked me up. And could also get me out of a tough situation, too. When there are accusations flying about who broke the rocking chair, it's pretty hard for your mother to keep a straight face when you answer with, "Oh, no, no, no, ah no, no, no, uh no, no, nope, nope, no, uh no.....duh.....HUH?" Go ahead, try it.
Tom & Jerry are a very, very close second.
**Whee! I'm glad this was my 100th post!**

And your avatar, Shannon, is the quintessential drag performance by Bugs. "What's Opera Doc?" is one of the greatest low-brow roasts of high-brow culture ever put to celluloid.
"With my spear and magic helmet!"
It even tops all of those fantastically destructive piano concerto's between Tom and Jerry or Bugs and Daffy. All of which, btw, helped me to appreciate and actually enjoy classical music as a kid, even some opera.
Since I'm on my Acme soap box, check out this concrete wall that's for sale in south Jersey!
At nearly 5' tall and almost 8' wide, it would make an awesome garden wall or a frontise piece for a Table Top SFG.
If only I had an extra $10K.
