Help! Tiny white insects!
This is my second year with a year-round garden and last year I boasted about my fabulous chard, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, and beets. This year, everything is growing healthy again, but I just noticed a tiny white insect---white flies?- all over one of my lettuce plants. Upon closer examination, they are also on other heads, and in a separate box I discovered dust like eggs on the veins of the leaves. Oh my goodness! I examined them under the microscope and yes, they are eggs....but everywhere! I started spraying immediately with soapy water, but I am concerned that it might not be enough. Has anyone had success with praying mantis for something like this? Other suggestions? Thank you for the help!

Re: Help! Tiny white insects!
we have whiteflies here in AZ, however, they disappear when it gets cold. You might want to post a picture here so someone can I'd them. Good luck.
