Anyone know what the spacing should be on kohlrabi?

Re: kohlrabi spacing
I planted one square with 4 kohlrabi plants. I let them mature to have a harvestable bulge of about 3". It seemed to be the perfect spacing! This was my first year gardening and the first time to taste kohlrabi. Kohlrabi is on my list for next year. It was easy to grow, suffered no problems, and was great tasting. I think I shall like to try growing a few varieties - purple and white.

Re: kohlrabi spacing
I have a bunch of squares planted at 9 per, based on the advice in this thread:

It's working fine.
The seed spacing shown on the package in your picture is 'thin to 4 inches' which works out to be 9 per square.
