This is my first time at gardening so I really don't know what is going on. Just kind of winging it. I am a little concered about the 100* temps we have been having. My tomatos and snow peas ain't doing so good. Hopefully they will bounce back. I think I might be watering to much also. What a Face

It looks great. You may hear or read that you can't over water, as long as you have good drainage in the bottom of your box. I watered by hand and each square-when the plants were small-got 16 oz of water a day. If it was over 100, I'd water twice a day, the same amount. When they got bigger, each square got 2 16 oz cups of water.

I was wondering if your providing shade? When the plants are small and it's 100 out, shade in the hottest part of the day will help to keep them from burning up. I had to shade my peppers, actually almost every thing, most of the summer, we had a long stretch of 100 degree days.

Thanks..... I keep thinking OK already it is going to cool off now. But it hasn't. Soon as I put up the shade it will freeze....lol Still learning.

I can't even imagine living in Yuma. I lived in Prescott AZ for 13 years and that was hot enough for me. However your winter will allow you to garden and enjoy where as mine will be under the snow!

Good luck, learning is part of the process...enjoy! HAVE FUN! It looks like you are off to an awesome start.
