25 lb green shaghetti squash??? Empty 25 lb green shaghetti squash???

This ad is in our local Craigslist but it sounds fishy to me. Does spaghetti squash even come in green or anywhere near 25 lbs? Just wondering.

Organic Spaghetti string Squash (highest quality green) and recipe - $25 (Riverside, CA)

I have about 2 or 3 gigantic 25 lb squashes in my organic garden at my home where I watered it everyday religiously twice a day since May ! There is alot of love in these and each one I will sell to you for $ 25. That is way better than the grown in Mexico stuff that is non organic and brown sold @ $1 per pound or more at your local store! Once they are picked they will last about 1 month in your refrigerator and once cut I would recommend eating it within 2 weeks.

With all the chemicals in today's foods, wouldn't you like to have a refreshing organic treat that is so good for you that you can feel it when you eat it. It is like mother nature pumps the vitality into these cute squashes that look like pumpkins but are green and when cooked to the perfect texture is a gourmet delicacy. I believe they even put this kind of squash in shark fin soup? To add the spaghetti like texture and natural goodness and volume that really compliments a meal and makes it fulfilling.

Call me now I only have 3 of them! Yes you can buy just 1!
$25 each for (3) 25 lb squashes still on the vine !

True or not, I won't be paying $25 for a squash, though I wouldn't mind selling one of mine (not that I currently have any) for that - think of the seeds I could then turn around and buy! Very Happy

I don't think I'd pay $25 for a squash, no matter what kind or how big, but here's a link that has a little more info and a pic of a green spaghetti squash. According to one of the replies, they can grow upwards of 30 lbs. affraid

Denese, thanks for the link. I learning something. I don't think it would work in a SFG. I followed some links and it looks like takes over whole lots(to a depth of 5 feet) and climbs trees.

I know I wouldn't pay $5 for a squash.
