I grew both this year. My Little Marvels seem a lot tougher (the shells) than the Sugar Snap. Does that sound about right? Both peas have continued to grow all summer, even in high temperatures, so that's good. I think I'll stick with Sugar Snap next year tho.

The Sugar Snap peas we just munch directly off the vine, they're sweet and tender. The Little Marvels I can't do that with, I threw them into the freezer for recipes.

Little Marvel is a shelling pea, so the pods aren't meant to be eaten, which is why they're tough. If you want to freeze peas that are like the ones you can buy, then Little Marvel works great, but you have to shell them, whereas sugar snap peas have tender, edible pods.
