My attempt to save my seeds from the birds
My attempt to save my seeds from the birds...Got me a fake owl and covered my seeds with bottles and cups.
Taking measures after a severe lost in my second garden a few weeks ago (sigh). Re-planted more seeds, which is-a-growin' fast.
These last couple of weeks have been a adventure...I even got stung by a wasp, whom needs to be out seeking the hornworms and not me!!! I had a allergic reaction, but now I'm doing better. The Japanese beetles are finally finding out to be scared of me -- ((They better be)) Hoping I don't have a rodent or something, as a few plants seem to be falling over -- not sure yet, could have been from the winds we had from a recent storm and/or from all the rain -- beds are pretty wet.
I do have some vegetables coming along fine so that's a A+ --Cheers me up from all the hard work.

I love your idea of the cups over the seeds! Very clever. Where I live the birds do not bother my seeds which is strange but good.

April, good luck with those cups and botte covers. They may be just the thing to save your seed and baby seedlings from the birds.
Keep an eye out for overheating though.
