My potatoe plants are turning yellow
My potatoe plants are turning yellow
I have not seen any insects on them, I know it was very dry, but I watered them every three or four days. I felt potatoes, but they are beginning to look sickly. I will try and post a photo after I figure out how.

Have they flowered already? Is it possible that they are dying back at the end of their growth cycle?

Fable or not if you planted them anywhere near Good Friday they quite well could be reaching the natural end of productive life assuming they did flower sometime. I usually begin to snitch harvest about now too even from my sweet potatoes.

Well, I did plant them early May, and they had tons of flowers. I gently dug around one square and I did feel a potato that was about the size of a medium sized male fist. I just arranged the mixture back over it though. So, I'm guessing I have potatoes. Do I let the plants fully die back? I have never planted potatoes, other than the sweet potatoes last year. They grow differently though.
