Finally found some time to research square foot gardening and pleasantly found myself here. In the spring, the school I teach at started 4 small raised beds. They are doing well, but the plantings were done by the after school program with not much planning. I was busy with the new butterfly garden at the time but now since school is out I am taking care of raised beds. They are doing well and since I am teaching summer school I have students who have been delighted to pick peas, cukes, and just today green beans! I am anxious to learn to get the max volume of produce and more different kinds of vegs!!
