Identify a new bug
This forum has been the best for identifying a bug. I have a new one, see them sitting on my tomato plants. about the size of an ant, Dark red body, black legs and black antennae...they look quite a bit like shrimp.
They dont seem to be doing anything...just sitting there, waving their antennae around. If you touch one, it slowly scampers away for a few cm...then stops moving again.
Any guesses?

Does it look like any of these? These are ladybug larvae. If not, can you post a pic?

No, not at all...but inspecting my tomato plants this morning, and they are all dead. Scattered around on different branches, all black now and dead.
