Drink recipes..
Awhile back, some of us kicked around the idea of a celebratory drink named after a couple people that mentioned how badly they were in need of a cocktail due to the stresses of life, liberty, and the pursuits of happiness.
We came up with a lethal combination called a DizzyMamma. If anyone wants to try it, here's the recipe...
1oz Malibu rum
1/2 oz Creme de Banana liquer
1/2 oz Triple Sec
4oz Orange juice
4oz Pineapple juice
Garnish with a drizzle of Grenadine and serve in a tall glass over ice.
That is a good drink for you tropical people out there.
However, due to the success of the TomatoTuesday threads, created by PattiPan, I thought up another name you all may like.
The PattiCake...
2 scoops vanilla ice cream in a blender
a few ounces of milk as if making a milkshake
1 1/2 oz Kahlua
1 oz Bailey's Irish Creme
While blending together, drizzle chocolate syrup in the glass you intend to serve. Pour "milkshake" into glass and top with whipped cream and another drizzle of chocolate syrup.
Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

DizzyMamma #2 subs out the banana liqueur (didn't have any) for Peach Tree Schnapps. It was also mighty tasty.

Think I'm gonna have to go to the party store tomorrow and pick up a few ingredients.

I can't afford the extra calories in those drinks. I think I'll have something a little lighter, maybe a milkshake.
