Shredded paper on potatoes update
Shredded paper on potatoes update
Well.....I think I found a winner! I used the shredded office paper from school on the 4x4 box of potatoes. The plants look great!!! I even put a second layer on. None has blown off despite extremely high winds, partly because the level is well belowthe top of the box. Also, wetting it down makes if form just the slightest crust. The soil is nice and moist and new leaves are even popping up from under. I will be using it in my home potato boxes now too.
