Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Upstate New York.
Gardening ranges from the banana belt of Connecticut (zone 6) to the frigid areas
of northern New Hampshire and Maine. One thing all of New England has
in common is cold winters. Costal summers are humid and may be hot.
Mountain summers are cooler.
Last Frost Dates: Late April along the coast; Early June in the Mountains.
Frost free season ranges from 120 to 180 days.
