Question about growing potatoes in buckets.
How far up in the bucket do you mound them? I am using big 18 gal buckets. I thought I should go up to at least 3/4 of the way full but I'm not sure. TIA!

Re: Question about growing potatoes in buckets.
I have covered mine until they are to the top of the bucket, as they grew I kept adding soil, (my compost in this bucket) other places I used hay.
I hope this helps some

P.S. I have soil almost to the very top of the pink bucket and one of the potato boxes are 32 inches high.
