Zuccini Empty Zuccini

Post  judyjill 5/15/2011, 12:34 pm

I usually have awsome zuccini. I live in Alaska and do cold weather crops. Last year I changed the soil in my garden. My Zuccini didn't grow at all and when i pulled the plants up this fall they had no root mass.. I have been gardening the same square beds for 5 years, had a soils test done, here are the numbers, can anyone interprete for me. NH+4 is33 NO3- is 17 P is 136 K is 1937

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Funny thing my Cauliflower heads were huge in the same soil.

When I lived in Anch our soil was mostly clay. Are you growing in MM now? Zuccini 601593

Zuccini 396615 Judyjill, I have no suggestions for you and your zuchinni, as here in NE TX it grows like crazy in all this warmth, but I did want to say welcome! Have you read the All New Square Foot Gardening book yet?
